Jacqueline was born in Newcastle, Staffordshire on April 1st!!

The last of a family of six, Jackie had an innate passion for making from a very early age.....

"From the age of 3 my dad had us stripping walls; at the age of 7 we were promoted to hanging the wallpaper. Mum taught me to use a sewing machine at 7 and at 10 I was making my own patterns and making clothes."

The family shed was our 'Post Office'; our 'Hospital' and our 'Filling Station'. The fantasies and aspirations were endless! From this Jacqueline progressed and recently project managed the design and build of their family home in the Staffordshire Moorlands.

Jacqueline swapped her pen for pencil in 1999 and went from Insurance Broker to Designer Maker, graduating with a first class hons. degree in Contemporary Design Crafts specialising in fine metals.

Her family home is also the home of her design/work studio. Although only a ten second walk to work Jacqueline still has a problem starting early although is not averse to working until all hours of the night!
